How to use the word search solver
Copy the grid
Take a photo or a screenshot of the puzzle, or type the letters row by row. Spaces, commas and lowercase letters are handled for you.
Add the words
Paste the word list. Phrases like ice cream work too, spaces are ignored, just like in the puzzle.
See every answer
Each word is marked in its own color. Click a word in the list to make it flash in the grid. Words that are missing are flagged, which usually means a typo in the grid.
Frequently asked questions
Does the solver find backwards and diagonal words?
Yes. It checks all eight directions from every letter: across, down, both diagonals and all of them backwards.
Why does it say a word is not in the grid?
Usually one letter in the grid was typed differently, or a row is shorter than the others. The solver warns you when rows have different lengths.
Can I just take a photo of the puzzle?
Yes. Press Photo or screenshot and point your camera at the letter grid, or paste a screenshot. The letters are read on your device; check the highlighted ones, then add the words.
Is my puzzle uploaded anywhere?
No. The solver runs entirely in your browser, photos included. Nothing you type or photograph is sent to a server.
